We wanted to acknowledge the
contributions of some historical personalities that had set the
basics, the rules and the structure of Arabic Music, throughout the
evolution of this art form over the past Fifteen Hundred years.
We were fortunate to obtain biographies of some of these
personalities Such as:
Al
Farabi,
Ziryab,
Ibn Bajah,
Al Kindi
and
Al
Ghazali. However, other notables who have contributed
just as much, such as Ibn Sina, Ibraheem and Ishaq Almousilli we
were not fortunate enough to obtain extensive Biographies, but just
the same, those were the true artists, scientists, creative minds
and musicians. |
