Maqam Al-Husein     مقام الحسين

Note: Alhusein Maqam is composed of three Bayati tetrachords: one on D, One on A and one on upper D

Alhusein has five different varieties and they are:

1-      Alhusein Niriz الحسين نيريز (in Tunis). It stresses the C below the tonic.

2-     Alhusein Asl  الحسين اصل  which is equivalent to the eastern Al-Huseini

3-     Al-Husein Usheiran  الحسين عسيران  which is same as the Bayati with the addition of a Bayati tetrachord below its Tonic when descending.

4-      Al-Husein Saba  الحسين صبا characterized by stressing the third note.
